 CONCEPT OF ANIMATION: COMPUTER GRAPHICS

What is Digital Art?

Introduction:

Computer has become our friend and companion in today's time, which can never be forgotten. It has proved that our life today has been greatly influenced by the fast-paced modernity, which can never be denied. In this episode, we will talk about such a technical form of art today which is being served to us in the form of computer.

Development of Art in Digital world:

Computer graphics includes scanner, digital camera and art related works i.e. coloring. Through the scanner, various types of pictures are scanned and put in the computer and they can be made as per your requirement. In the present time, pictures are given a good shape by using a scanner through the computer itself. Similarly, CDs can be prepared through various types of pictures through digital camera. Recording can also be done through this and CDs can be prepared by scanning in the computer. This program is also used to impart painting related skills. Through this, knowledge of the art and technique of painting is imparted to students of lower level. Animation system includes that material in which liveliness is created by some other person; for example, children like cartoons very much. Whatever activities are created through cartoons, there is human contribution in them. This type of system comes under animated visual material. When there is any voice operation in them, then it comes in the form of audio-visual material. Many such materials come under visual and audio means; for example, when a picture of a cat reads a poem to the students, then the student likes that poem very much. The student listens to it again and again and memorizes that poem. On the contrary, when the same poem is recited by the teacher, then the student finds it uninteresting. Due to this, the student is unable to learn this poem. Similarly, learning is done through many animated materials. Animated means include cartoons, puppets and means of demonstration through signs, which may or may not have sound. Through these means, art education can be easily imparted to students. Animated or animation audio-visual approaches are being widely used in the present times. Efforts are being made by educationists and psychologists to use as many resources as possible, which on one hand can inspire students towards modern technology and on the other hand can increase their learning level. Therefore, the purpose, need and importance of animated means can be clarified in the following manner-

(1) Through animated means, students get entertainment and learning related material. The kind of material which a student feels the need for, he gets it, his learning level is high.

(2) With the use of animated tools, students get access to many types of materials on the same subject; for example, various forms and activities of cartoons can be seen on the computer through CDs and DVDs via the Internet. Similarly, animated tools prove useful on every subject.

(3) The use of animated tools is based on psychological principles. In this, the student selects the material according to his interest and requirement. In this, every material is presented to the student in such a form that he can learn.

(4) Every type of skill can be taught to students through animated tools. Students gain knowledge about various types of skills through various programs obtained from CDs and the Internet.

(5) The main purpose of animated tools is to ensure the availability of material for students according to their interest and requirement at every time and at every place; for example, a student can learn his interesting skills at any place with the help of his mobile phone and the Internet.

Conclusion:

From the above discussion, it becomes clear that in the present times, various types of education are imparted to students through animated audio-visual approaches. With their use, the learning process is completed in a natural and simple way in the students and there is no control of any kind on the student. Therefore, everyone tries to make the students learn the use of these means and make them learn from the primary level itself.
